Opening to our Essence through Bodywork

EXPLORING THE PERSONALITY LINE

The body is the book of life—it is our fundamental vehicle for being in contact with reality and offers the most direct path to connecting with our Essence. Essence resides in the body. It is not a figment of the imagination, nor a concept or mental construct. Through the body, we can experience Essence directly. 

In our work of reconnecting with our Essence, we examine the psychological layer of the personality (object relations) and what has happened to us through the childhood conditioning that has also a direct impact on the energetic reality and the flow of energy in our body. Through bodywork we release the tension or flacidity in the body and that can become a dierct gateway to access and reconect with our Essence.

When Essence flows through the body, we experience the Body of Bliss: this is our natural state. Our body is the most natural and pleasurable phenomenon in existence. Being in the body is our birthright and the greatest blessing.

Though we are born with a body, our Essential development involves growing into full embodiment and enfleshment. Unfortunately, through early conditioning, psychological wounding, and disconnection from our Essence, we build psychological defenses in order to survive emotionally, as we are helpless and dependent on our parents and caregivers during childhood. As a result, the body becomes braced, and instead of experiencing the Body of Bliss, we become imprisoned in an ego shell that occupies our physical body.

Through bodywork, we can become aware of the tensions or flaccidity we carry in the ego shell—part of our embodied trauma—and begin to let go. As we reconnect with the Body of Bliss, we begin to experience our Essence once more and restore the Essential flow within our system. 

In this training, we will gain a comprehensive view of how we can utilise bodywork in order to help ourselves and our students to access Essence in our system and allow the fountains of Essence in the body to stream again and our Essence to flow freely in the body.

We will explore the Personality Line and work with it. With sensitive bodywork, inquiry and application of appropriate body oriented methodologies, we will attempt to undo this line of tension in our body, that keeps our system arrested to our ego history, in order to experience the body of Bliss, that is the basic vehicle of our life and our Essence.

We will investigate the impact of the false structures and survival mechanisms — that we have created as a defence against the pain we carry inside from our childhood — on our body, our life energy and on the connection to our own Essence. Through bodywork we will become aware about the false Stupa, the false Citadel and the false Pearl in our system. Becoming aware of these phenomena creates already some space within, a certain distance from these patterns, and therefore promotes the inner differentiation from old mechanisms of the personality. This is the beginning of the process of restoration that enables us to let go of the old tensions and start builidng an Essential structure. Our body is the basic ground, where this true Essential structure can host our Point of Light, so we can be embodied and live our potential. Our Essential vehicles are the organs of our Soul, so our Soul can live and function in this world. This is the Essential support that we need in order to actualize what our Soul came here to do, to live our Soul station, and to actualize our Soul mission.

We will work with exercises, bodywork techniques, Gestalt practices, meditations, and Essential transmissions.
